The beginning of Elite came out of a desire to create an international and informative magazine, not one to merely provide entertainment like many magazines on the market. The main content was meant to involve interviews with intellectuals and leading policy planners of the ASEAN Economic Community. Through clear concepts and well-crafted language, readers would be able to learn about various topics including arts, culture, tourist attractions and much more, led by Arthorn Techatada, executive editor of Elite .
The magazine was successfully launched at the International Book Fair in Korea, a great opportunity to introduce the magazine internationally. Due to its good reception, Elite has been supported by our VIP members, including the diplomatic corps in Thailand. And through the world’s biggest book fair in Frankfurt, and other vehicles, after a year Elite is now known worldwide.
And besides the international recognition, Elite is growing domestically, participating in the IPA International Publishers Congress in March this year and distributing the magazine in Bangkok Airways lounges and leading hotels, international schools and international hospitals in Thailand. Elite continues to receive positive feedback from readers and those at the tops of their fields.
The magazine also continues to apply a two-way communication principal, meaning Elite is open to suggestions and reader comments. This feedback is used to develop the magazine’s content and graphic layout, its choice of interview subjects and the exceptional images taken by professional photographers.
Now Elite is evolving from a physical magazine into a full-scale online magazine as well, in order to overcome the logistic limitations of deliveries and cater better to our readers’ interests. Readers will thus have greater opportunity to easily access content and images, able to peruse the topics of greatest interest to them. The currently updated content has been divided into various sectors and uploaded on e-platform waiting for you to explore on eliteplusmagazine.com.
