PITCH is proud to bring you TheDavisConnection app. PITCH stands for Programmers Impacting the Community Helpfully, and with our latest app we believe life in Davis will never be the same. With TheDavisConnection app, you can have a voice in your community. There is no need to post papers, advertisements, flyers across the city anymore! Just simple take a picture, add a title, choose a category*, specify a location, and post a message letting everyone know your latest events and announcements.
Utility
Each post contains the location at the top followed by the uploader's name, message, and contact information. If you see an eye on the top right, that specifies that an image is available to be viewed if you click on it. A "read more" text will show up on the bottom right to bring you to a page where the rest of the message can be viewed.
The Search Bar allows you to search any post by a person's name or any word that might be contained in the post message. If you desire to have additional post filters, specify the category you are looking for by clicking one of the categories under the search bar. If you wish to undo the filter, click on the chosen category once more.

Just specify the location such as the location of pickup, and the price of your item(s). The photo feature also provides buyers with a better visual on the quality of your selling item(s).

Announce your latest upcoming block party! Or your jazz gig in Downtown Davis! The Announcement category is the place to let people know your exciting events and news. If you are a business owner, post your latest discounts and products to let your customers know!
Report-
The Report category is used to warn any hazards to the people of Davis. If you see a suspicious behavior, or damaged construction, or just a fallen tree in an intersection, let people know. You must, however, never post any false reports or any misleading information.
