Is a community share (peer to peer) delivery service between individuals and/or businesses to ship packages door to door or
through hubs at a price set by the customer.
The application includes customers, couriers, and hubs.
Customers are people or businesses requiring a package or item to be delivered.
Couriers are individuals who will accept the package and make the delivery.
Hubs are individuals or businesses who have a storage location to hold packages for the customer in the delivery process.
Customers can create a package request at anytime for any package.
The customer will be asked to include package name, picture, size, delivery and drop off locations, delivery and drop off timelines, and price.
Once a package is posted couriers can request to deliver the package.
The customer can drop off the package at a hub for ease of pick up for couriers.
Upon the creation of a package couriers will be able to view the request and make requests to deliver it.
Couriers will be able to view start and end locations, size, timeline, and amount they will earn upon completion of the delivery.
Couriers are expected to be on time and to prevent damage to the package.
Couriers are able to collect packages from the desired location to include home address, business address, or hub and drop off the locations as well.
Hubs are used to protect customers and maximize income and efficiency for couriers.
A hub can be any business or individual who has space they can use to collect and distribute packages of various sizes to couriers and customers within the hubs chosen hours of operations.
A hub may select its own hours of operation and storage size.
The storage size must be capable of fitting a single item at that size (i.e. A hub claiming to have square footage to hold a small car must be able to hold a small car).
Hubs may collect packages at the start, end or in route to their destination.
Hubs are expected to handle any number of courier and customer traffic during their hours of operation.
To expedite package delivery couriers can collect and travel with multiple packages from one hub to the next.
Packages may be dropped off at 1 intermediate hub also to maintain faster flow of delivery.
Upon final delivery of a package all parties will be paid from the holding queue.
