”HC And - Astma” er udviklet i et samarbejde mellem H.C. Andersen Børne- og Ungehospital, Odense Universitetshospital, indlagte børn og deres familier og 10:30 Visuel Kommunikation.
HC And er patientinformation for børn i alderen 4-7 år og har til formål at forberede og mindske utrygheden hos børn for hvem mange hospitalsbegreber er helt ukendte.
”HC And - Astma” er en introduktion til et generelt indlæggelsesforløb for de yngste børn, deres familie og omgangskreds.
Informationen er med speak - af en barnestemme - og animation i genren ”Læring gennem leg med computer/tablet”.
Børn i denne aldersgruppe lærer og erkender ved leg og konkret information. Indlagte børn kan hurtigt blive “fyldt op” med en masse information. Derfor er HC And bygget op af korte sekvenser i børnehøjde, så “nye” kan starte her.
Historierne i HC And afspejler virkeligheden og de foreskrevne kliniske retningslinjer. Hospitalspersonale kan bruge dette materiale som et pædagogisk værktøj til at skabe en fælles forståelsesramme med barnet.
Der er fokuseret på tryghed og kommunikation i børnehøjde, så barnet også selv kan tilegne sig specifik viden uden hjælp fra voksne. Vi opfordrer både forældre og hospitalspersonale til at bruge de små forberedelsesfilm i relation til og i takt med børnenes behov for information og forberedelse.
HC And kan også bruges, som en del af efterbehandlingen, når I er kommet hjem og dit barn har behov for at bearbejde sine oplevelser igen og igen.
HC And historierne om astma eksisterer også i en version til afvikling på pc/mac. I computerversionen er ”Astma” en integreret del af HC Ands store hospitalsunivers med mange generelle undersøgelser, som er fælles for mange udredningsforløb. hcand.dk er frit tilgængelig og ”Astma” kan man finde under ”diagnoser”.

The stories in HC Duck reflect the reality and the prescribed clinical guidelines. Hospital staff can use this material as an educational tool to create a common frame of understanding with the child.
The focus is on safety and communication at child's height, so that the child can also acquire specific knowledge himself without the help of adults. We encourage both parents and hospital staff to use the small preparation films in relation to and in line with children's needs for information and preparation.
HC Duck can also be used as part of the post-treatment when you have returned home and your child needs to process his experiences over and over again.
The HC And stories of asthma also exist in a version for running on PC / mac. In the computer version, "Asthma" is an integral part of HC And's large hospital universe with many general studies, which are common to many investigative processes. hcand.dk is freely available and "Asthma" can be found under "diagnoses".
