As Aventuras de Poliana, novela inspirada no livro Pollyana, de Eleanor H. Porter, conta a história de Poliana (Sophia Valverde), uma garota com personalidade livre e espontânea. Ela é filha do casal de artistas circenses Lorenzo (Lázaro Menezes) e Alice (Kiara Sasso). Para encarar os problemas de forma mais leve, os pais ensinam para a menina a brincadeira do “jogo do contente”, que consiste basicamente em conseguir ver o lado bom de tudo, especialmente nas situações mais desagradáveis.
Durante uma das viagens da trupe, a um município esquecido e pacato do sertão cearense, Poliana conhece João (Igor Jansen), um garoto humilde do povoado local, que está de passagem e se encanta pela música da apresentação. Ele tem personalidade forte e vive em um casebre no meio do sertão nordestino aos cuidados do pai grosseiro, Tião (Helder Sossa), e da mãe submissa, Josefa (Luciana Vidal).
Ainda criança, João é obrigado a abandonar a escola e a ajudar Tião com o trabalho na lavoura e os serviços de casa. Após a morte dos pais, Poliana, de 11 anos, se muda para São Paulo para morar com os parentes de sua mãe, a família D’Ávila. Enquanto isso, no sertão, João, também aos 11 anos, se cansa da repressão do pai e decide ir embora de casa...
Embora as gravações tenham iniciado em setembro de 2017, a estreia aconteceu apenas em maio de 2018 e a previsão é que a trama chegue a ficar perto de dois anos no ar.

The Adventures of Poliana, a novel inspired by the book Pollyana, by Eleanor H. Porter, tells the story of Poliana (Sophia Valverde), a girl with a free and spontaneous personality. She is the daughter of the couple of circus artists Lorenzo (Lázaro Menezes) and Alice (Kiara Sasso).
