No existe hoy templo alguno, entre los muchos que levantó la Orden de Santiago, donde podamos encontrar los sepulcros de tres de sus maestres, además de otros comendadores y caballeros de la citada Orden, lo que puede darnos una idea de la importancia de este monasterio en el seno de dicha institución.
